About Me

Kelly has been a life long yogi thanks to parents who started her early - doing yoga while pregnant with her! The practice has sustained her through ups and downs of a full life. She lives and practices in Roanoke, VA and is married to a wonderful supportive guy and occasional yogi. They have 5 kids who join in the yoga but prefer the deep relaxation classes.

Philosophy

Kelly’s approach to teaching yoga is taking a humble and lighthearted joyful attitude to meet all students right where they are. Classes are fun, strengthening and leave students with yogic wisdom, a sense of peace and ideas on how to take this physical and mental practice off their mats and into their lives. The brain is pretty tricky to train. Glutes, hamstrings, biceps - all much easier to get into shape. But that post yoga class glow, that feeling of ease and peace comes from quieting the mind and allowing the self to shine through. Taught by a fidgety, twitchy, overthinker with lots of experience with a swirling mind.
